Shock Services and Dynoing

We can test, diagnose and re-valve your shocks here in Australia. This type of diagnosis allows you to understand the performance of your shock and whether parts need to be replaced that are affecting your shock.

IBRP is an AFCO and Integra Certified Shock Service Center. Our expert Technicians can rebuild your shocks to factory specs using only factory parts. We can also do Custom Valving with complete confidentiality. Dyno testing is performed to ensure your shocks are performing to manufacturer standards. We are currently certified to service AFCO and Integra shocks, with plans for other certifications soon.

We have built custom shock absorbers for the following applications: Sprint and Midget dirt and asphalt, Micro Sprints, Quarter Midgets dirt and asphalt, Stock Cars, Dirt Late Models, Dirt Modifieds, Sports Cars, Drag Cars, Hill Climb

If you have a shock that is bent or leaking chances are we can get it fixed to new condition for much less than buying a new one.

If the rebuild is going to cost close to the value of a new shock we will call you and give an estimate before any work is completed. A standard shock rebuild will have any damaged parts replaced, seals and fresh oil installed. Once that is completed we will then dyno the shock to ensure it is within tolerance. You will always receive the dyno sheet for future reference.

We offer shock dyno and analysis on any brand of shock. We have a Roehrig Shock Dynamometer to satisfy all your needs. It is very common for a shock to not be what it is stamped. It is vital to the performance of your car to know what you have bolted on each corner. Through our dyno analysis, we can assess the condition of your shock, if it is within tolerance and give you some recommendations based on our knowledge. This is a very affordable service. Nobody should put a shock on their car that hasn’t been on a dyno.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

If I buy a set of shocks and damage them how quickly can it be repaired?

Usually, during the season we can turn any repair around in 1-3 days. We keep a large inventory of parts on hand, and will always do our best to assure you back on the track for you next race.

Where do I get a nitrogen tank to fill my shocks?

Any welding supply can set you up with a small nitrogen tank and regulator. The smallest tank should last you a full season. The only other tool you will need is a Shock Inflation tool.

How often should I check the gas in my shocks?

We recommend that it is a part of your weekly maintenance. It is unlikely that a large amount of gas will leak out but since we are working with such a small volume we like to check it.

I don’t have a shock dyno, how do I know where my adjustable shock is?

We give a conversion sheet specific to each shock after we dyno it. It will explain in detail what the valving is in relation to the shock adjuster.

I don’t know what valving shock to order?

No problem, give us a call. We will ask you a series of simple questions. Based on the information we get we will recommend the valving that will best suit your needs.

I have an idea I want to try but don’t want anyone to know about it?

Not a problem any custom valving you want to be built will remain private information between you and IBRP
